Zichuan Zou received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Guizhou University, Guiyang, China, in 2023. He is currently an associate professor in the School of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Guizhou Normal University. His main research interests include physical simulation modeling of machining process, metal cutting machining mechanism, optimized design of tool structure, intelligent manufacturing and green and efficient machining.

Scope and Objectives:

With the development of the modern manufacturing industry, efficient and precise metal-cutting processes are crucial for improving product quality and production efficiency. This research topic includes not only traditional machining but also the cross-discipline of computer fusion, and the main applications include a variety of machining-related fields, such as the identification of material constitutive parameters, microstructure evolution, and data-driven cutting performance prediction.

Submission Process:
